Brilliant Bronze for Cheeks & Eyes - Estée Lauder Signature Bronze Shimmer Palette

$36.00 for 0.35 oz.
With e.l.f. Week over, I'm really trying to stay on top of the reviews; I can barely decide what to review each day, plus I'm going to need to stick with drugstore brands for a while (budget and all). Yet, I still have a few gems to show you, like this multi-tasker extraordinaire! Estée Lauder Signature Bronze Shimmer Palette is a huge win for me, not perfect, but going to last and be used for many things. I use this for blush, bronzer, and eyeshadow, and the five shades are very neutral, not cool or warm so it's good for all. Seriously consider this if you'd like bang for your buck and space in your makeup drawer!

From top left corner to bottom right:
-light pink with gold sheen
-rosy pink with bronze sheen
-bronze with frost sheen
-plum-rose with bronze sheen
-blackened-bronze plum with bronze sheen
This is the same order from left to right as the photos below. The sixth swatch is all five colors blended together.

The pigment of these isn't meant to have the impact of eyeshadow, but that of shimmery bronzer, so they aren't power packed in the same way. I could live off of this as a complete day look in the summer: powder foundation, chapstick, mascara, and this. Done deal. There is almost a slip to these powders, so I recommend a good primer (my choice is one from e.l.f.) on the eyelid. Otherwise, there can be some creasing; also, if you aren't taking this palette with you, be sure to put some setting powder on top to hold your bronze in place.

Monday...ugh, today felt like hump day, but I'm ready to pick it up for the rest of it. Let's go! Wish I could still go get all my picks for MAC Wonder Woman, but alas, my personal budget has been cut quite a bit...I'm going to school to become an esthetician (basically learn to be a professional makeup artist)!!!! SO EXCITED! You'll know more soon, promise.

  1. This is so gorgeous but I have too many eyeshadows/highlighters/bronzers in similar colours so I'll have to pass :(
